Rev. W. A. Fitzhenry



Bill Fitzhenry attended schools in Mont Belvieu, TX, graduating from Barbers Hill High School in 1955. He and his wife, Darlene (Hightower) have been married for 53 years and have five children. Since his call to the pastoral ministry Bill's chief delight is preaching the gospel. Bill pastored in the Baytown area before attending Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Mo., where he received a Master of Divinity degree in 1975. Bill served as pastor of Presbyterian churches in W. Va. before returning to Texas in 1981. From 1984-1993 he served as Assistant Pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Houston with the responsibility of starting mission churches. During that time he served as Organizing Pastor for Covenant Presbyterian, Lufkin; First Reformed Presbyterian, Beaumont; Southwest Presbyterian, Bellaire. From 1993-2002 he served as Pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Houston, from which he retired in 2002 and moved to a farm in Madisonville, TX. Since that time he has served as Assistant Pastor at Spring Cypress Presbyterian Church, Spring and then as Pastor of Faith Fellowship Church, Tomball, TX. He is presently retired and continues to serve as pulpit supply as well teaching Bible Studies and Sunday School classes.
